Wanted to make Unicorn Barf for a concession sale at our elementary school. Those with a sweet tooth went crazy for it! At home, the leftovers in the bag got gobbled up. Kinda fun idea to pour a bowl of Charms and glad to be able to buy it for my recipe but it won't be a staple in my house. Still think the kids should get their charms the hard way, by eating all the puff cereal around the charms until you finally have a bowl full of yummy goodness in a milk bath. I did it and I turned out just fine! :) I don't have a need to order this product ever again, I sort of feel like a bad mother for even allowing it in my house and while we try to eat healthy I'm by no means a stickler on the matter. But when I saw my daughter pour a bowl of charms I felt like it was a dirty.liitle secret that she should never tell anyone about or I would kicked out of the running for the MOTY award. But for the record though, it tasted like the original stuff, arrived in a secure package and the product wasn't crushed or damaged.Stale tasting. Immediately upon opening they tasted stale and flat. If you compare to Lucky Charms or Kroger brand imitation cereal you will find they both have a crisp crunch and then dissolve in your mouth. These either had no crisp crunch and/or had a flat, stale taste in your mouth. Almost rubbery or chewy but not in a good way.If you were adding to cereal with milk they may taste acceptable. But if you want these for snacking or anything else you will be let down. They come in a clear, non-resealable bag. Purchased another Amazon brand prior that was much better I have a love-hate relationship with these marshmallows. They are absolutely fantastic and taste just like the marshmallows in Lucky Charms. My biggest issue with this product is that I can't stop eating it. I've gone through three bags and probably gained 5 lbs. I like mixing them with cheerios in a 50-50 ratio for the perfect dessert. Be warned that there will be a lot of dust in the bags. It's pretty impossible to ship dehydrated marshmallows without some sugar dust. Every brand I've purchased has the same problem, SweetGourmet was probably the least powdery. Here's the deal I bought these tiny tasty morsels after not sleeping for a good 36 hours. so of course I thought buying a huge bag of dehydrated marshmallows was a fantastic idea. And that I needed them for reasons. Reasons I still don't know what for, but for reasons none the less. They really make hot chocolate a lot more fun. And who doesn't pick out the marshmallows in your cereal because a that's really what you wanted in the first place.Updating my original post. The first time I ordered these, they came in the bag as pictured in the ad, and they were fresh and yummy. The second time I ordered, they came repackaged in cheap, thin plastic bags and were stale. When these go stale, they are inedible. You throw a few in your mouth, they then stick together, become hard, and you feel like you are gnawing on a piece of plastic. The good news is, they can still be saved! Simply transfer to glass jars with 2 silica packets each, and seal tightly. In about a week, the moisture will be removed and the marshmallows will be edible again.I got these as a treat to hand out to our employees and they're a huge hit. Almost all of them have asked where I got them and can I get them some more? One word of advice: if you don't use them all at once (which is kind of a scary thought), make sure you store them in an airtight container as these being dried marshmallows, they are like little sponges and will get a little soggy/sticky which in no way diminishes their magical goodness.Amazing product! I love these so much and everyone else who has tried them loves them too! I've tried adding these to tons of different cereals and love it! Only 3 stars because during shipping and usage many of the marshmallows break up and by the time you get to the bottom third, it's mostly just the drums/powder. But they taste amazing, will definitely purchase again! These are great quality and very tasty -- maybe too tasty. I knocked down one star because the picture shows it coming in a resealable bag, but it's in a huge plastic package without openings. (Yes, I poured it into a resealable container, but it would have been nice to have received the item pictured.)
