I wanted just the marshmallows in Lucky Charms, so I tried this. They're not simply small marshmallows. They're dehydrated, and quite crispy. Not too sweet. Packaging was great too, a sealed plastic tub that showed if it had been opened (it hadn't), and kept them fresh. Expiry June 2014. They come in about 5 pastel colors and simple geometric shapes, no multicolored rainbows like those in Lucky Charms. I'm going to try putting them in baked desserts, if there are any left after my wife stops eating them by the spoonful.Update April 2014These are not for cooking - they melt very easily. You'd think, being dry and hard, they'd be more heat-resistant than normal marshmallows, but they just disappear into rainbow smears. Not for hot drinks either. Works fine at room-temperature and below.
