Fresh fresh fresh! Compared to other brands this product is very fresh and good tasting. Price is ok.Even though I only opened the bag long enough to get some out to eat and kept them tightly sealed in between the marshmallows became soft within a few days. The marshmallows tasted chalky and smelled like expired cereal and they weren't anything like the lucky charms or the marshmallo Fruity Pebbles marshmallows. The only good thing is if you like them it's a pretty good deal. The Medley farm assorted dry marshmallows are awesome, when I was a kid growing up I would beg my mom for lucky charms cereal and she would buy it. Once we arrived home I would dig through the box and eat out all the delicious marshmallows inside leaving the cereal bits which never tasted as good. My mom would be none to pleased with my doing this since my siblings would go to pour a box and discovered all the marshmallow bits were gone !! After that it was far and few between when my mom would buy the cereal again since I wasted most of it. Now as I am an adult I found these dehydrated marshmallow bits which contained all what was good about the lucky charms cereal with out the actual cereal bits. I did not have to dig through for the actual goodness. They taste exactly as I remembered as a child. I plan on using them as a dessert treat at my nieces party if I can manage not eating all of them before then. They came in a huge bag as shown in the listing. I just opened and ate to my hearts content. Perfect for a child's party to use as a side for dessert or a topping on ice cream. The possibilities are endless they would be cute on tope of a cake and or cupcakes for a party.I like cereal with these dried marshmallows, but I don't like the sweet cereal, itself -- I prefer a plain, unadorned cereal, with these marshmallows. So, it was nice to buy plain Rice Krispies and plain Corn Flakes, and then just top with a handful of these! Sweet, but not overly so, like Lucky Charms. The downside will be finding a way to keep them crisp. When the bag arrived, there is a fair amount of marshmallow dust in it, from the bits rubbing together for what I presume was a long time. I will probably filter that dust out, keep it, and I can see myself dusting a birthday cake (or ice cream?) with this marshmallow dust.Since discovering this horrible wonderful food product my wife refuses to eat anything else. I figured these would just be a little treat for her and the kids every once in a while, but within the first 4 days she'd consumed a whole bag, solo. My son tried to ask her for some and she snapped at him so ferociously that he hasn't spoken since. 2 days ago I logged into my account to find that she's ordered nearly a dozen more bags of this horrific ambrosia, and when I confronted her about it she hit me with a tire iron. My only hope is to wait for her to become so obese from eating nothing but dried marshed mallow that she can't follow me through doorways, at which time I'll finally be able to try some myself. 5 stars. They are old, stale, and disgusting. I thought all prime orders are eligible for refunds but I have tried to refund this the same day that it arrived and it is saying not eligible. I am so disappointed!I received the marshmallows on Sept 6 & just opened the bag today, Sept 12. The marshmallows are chewy & stale. Not crunchy at all. Very dissatisfied as they were fairly expensive.Even though there was marshmallow powder that I didn't mind. The taste is far from the marshmallow from a cereal box. Very disappointed the after taste is awful. Not worth the price but had to try since my kid only eats the marshmallow.
